SAN LEANDRO -- Police in San Leandro are asking for the public's help in finding three men who robbed a customer service representative at gunpoint Friday night.

A female employee at the Walmart at 15555 Hesperian Boulevard was uninjured physically during the 9:55 p.m. robbery, police said. One of the men grabbed the employee by the arm and pointed the gun at her as he and two other suspects forcibly opened the registers and fled with cash, police said.

The three suspects escaped in a light-colored sedan that they drove out of the south parking lot area, police said. The sedan hasn't been since the suspects escaped, police said.

Two of the suspects looked to be in their late 20s, with one of them approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build and the other a short man with a heavyset build, police said. The suspect who displayed a silver handgun was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The short, heavyset man was wearing a gray hoodie and dark pants, police said.

A third suspect was approximately 6 feet tall and also was wearing dark pants and a dark hoodie. All three suspects were black, police said.
