The Warped Tour is a smorgasbord of skate-punk and indie-rock acts.
This traveling circus of sounds and sights features over 60 bands performing on multiple stages. Some of the more enticing names on this year's bill include The Ready Set, K.Flay, Of Mice and Men and The Maine.
The Warped Tour touches down Saturday at Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View. Music starts at 11 a.m. and tickets are $23.50, www.livenation.com.
Joe Henry is a stunningly accomplished producer, having helped craft Grammy-winning/nominated albums by such acclaimed artists as the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Allen Toussaint and Susan Tedeschi.
Henry is also a prolific singer-songwriter-guitarist and has released several studio albums.
Henry performs Friday at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. Dan Wilson, of Semisonic fame, is also on the bill.
