Clayton

The City Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, in Hoyer Hall of the Clayton Community Library, 6125 Clayton Road. Council meetings are televised on tape delay at 7 p.m. the following evening on Comcast channels 24 and 25. 925-673-7300.

County

The Contra Costa County Mayors' Conference is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, for the annual holiday meeting, hosted by the city of Lafayette in the community hall of the Lafayette Library and Learning Center, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd. 925-324-0723.
