Las Vegas Transcript

Georgia Rutkowski, of Concord, traveled with her husband, Don, and son, Dominick, to visit family in Las Vegas, and along the way, stopped at Red Rock State Park where she took a moment to catch up on the community news in the Concord Transcript. She noted the wild horses and burros in the area, which is also a favorite with hikers and mountain climbers. Celebrations were in order -- their daughter's birthday, and her own anniversary, marked by seeing a performance of Cirque du Soleil's "O" at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. Georgia said a PBS documentary on the workings of the show brought back many good memories.
