CONCORD -- Organizers of a toy drive are looking for donations for children ages 5 to 10 and volunteers to help wrap gifts.

The 16th annual Monumental Holiday Toy Drive is accepting toys and monetary donations now through Dec. 14 for low-income families.

The program, which handed out more than 2,200 toys in 2011, provides gifts to children in grades K-5 at six elementary schools in Concord.

Toys can be dropped off at the following Concord locations: Concord Police Headquarters, 1350 Galindo St.; Concord Chevrolet, 1330 Concord Ave.; Concord Paris Beauty College, 1655 Willow Pass Road; City Hall, 1950 Parkside Dr. and Salvio Pacheco Square lobby, 2151 Salvio St. #325.

People are also invited to gift-wrapping sessions at the Harvest House warehouse on Dec. 5, 6, 12, and 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Dec. 8 and 15 from noon to 3 p.m. The warehouse is located at 2359 Monument Blvd. Suite K.
