Spartans march on

De La Salle High's Brian Rosselli, right, takes the ball up the court after a steal against Palo Alto in the Division I Northern California regional playoff opener on March 6. Rosselli's play was part of another exceptional defensive effort by the Spartans, who won the game 35-25. De La Salle went on to beat San Leandro 43-39 in the Division I quarterfinals. The Spartans traveled to Pleasant Grove-Elk Grove in the March 12 semifinals, but results were not available at press time.
