Caleb Peterson, 7, left, and Jordyn Morales, 5, both of Concord, above, ride the carousel during the 38th annual Concord Family Carnival held at Concord High School. The $1 gate admission from the fundraiser carnival April 19-21 benefits the Mt. Diablo Music Education Foundation, and proceeds from carnival rides, like the "YoYo," right, will help benefit the safe and sober Grad Night activities at Centre Concord for Concord, College Park, Ygnacio Valley and Northgate high schools. An optional nonperishable food item, instead of the gate admission, will go to the Bay Area Crisis Nursery.
