Residents are invited to attend the second community workshop on the Downtown Concord Specific Plan, scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at Salvio Pacheco Square, 2151 Salvio St., Suite 201.
The Downtown Specific Plan will be a vision for how the area will develop over the next 20-30 years. After the first workshop held in May, the project's steering committee has been working to incorporate public input into a draft vision statement and proposed plan for review at the Oct. 7 workshop, according to a city news release.
More than 150,000 people visit Todos Santos Plaza every year for summer programs, community events and farmers markets. And over the last 10 years, businesses around the plaza have seen a resurgence, according to the release.
Space is limited. R.S.V.P. to senior planner Joan Ryan at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 925-671-3370.
