Matt Dito, the son of Christine and Marty Dito, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, which was presented in Court of Honor ceremonies June 25, at the Clayton Valley Presbyterian Church in Clayton.
He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 364, under the leadership of Scoutmaster Gene Dodge.
For his Eagle Scout community service project, Dito planned and led the design and construction of a 20-by-25-foot cement paver patio to benefit the Clayton Valley Presbyterian Church and School. The patio is dedicated to Al Oetting, longtime Troop 364 Scoutmaster and church member.
During his Scouting career, Dito earned 34 merit badges, held several troop leadership positions and was voted a Wolfeboro Pioneer.
Dito, 18, is a 2013 graduate of De La Salle High School in Concord, and will be enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. He is a resident of Concord.
