CONCORD -- The Mt. Diablo school board will meet twice Wednesday, first to discuss governance, then later to appoint administrators and award a construction contract.
During their special 2 p.m. meeting, trustees will participate in a governance workshop focusing on roles and responsibilities of the superintendent and board, followed by a closed session to set the superintendent's performance goals.
At its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m., the board expects to appoint administrators including a Sequoia Middle School principal. Trustees will also vote on a $1.75 million contract agreement to construct a science building at Ygnacio Valley High.
