CONCORD -- A car overturned Monday afternoon in a crash in Concord but no one was seriously injured, a police dispatcher said.

The crash was reported at 2:49 p.m. at Concord Avenue and Market Street.

The vehicle went onto its side near the on-ramp to northbound state Highway 242, according to the dispatcher.

Minor injuries were reported but no one was taken to a hospital, the dispatcher said.

She said the crash briefly knocked out power to lights at the intersection, but they have since been turned back on.
