CONCORD -- The Mt. Diablo school board on Wednesday expects to approve a new teachers' contract that includes raises and higher district contributions to medical benefits.
The board also expects to approve a plan to spend nearly $6.4 million on technology, instructional materials and professional development to implement new Common Core standards.
Trustees also expect to approve an agreement with the Antioch district for "linked learning" instructional programs focused on career paths and to approve a $14.7 million lease contract agreement with Taber Construction for heating and air conditioning at eight schools.
