Evan Michael Stanziano, the son of John and Lanette Stanziano, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, which was presented in Court of Honor ceremonies April 12, at Concord United Methodist Church.
He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 465, under the leadership of Scoutmaster Michael Roark.
For his Eagle Scout community service project, Stanziano designed and constructed three large redwood picnic benches for use at Concord United Methodist Church, the troop's sponsor organization.
In addition to Scouting, he is involved in other activities, including being in two honor bands as a trombone player, swimming, and was a straight-A student in middle school.
Stanziano, 14, is a freshman at Concord High School.
