Sizzling showing for DLS' Morris

De La Salle High's Marquis Morris, right, races to the finish with Millikan's Misana Viltz in the boys 110-meter high hurdles at the CIF state track and field championships at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis on June 7. Morris, who will compete at USC next year, produced a school record time of 13.68 seconds but Viltz won in a national-leading time of 13.47. Morris was second. Morris went on to take first place in the 300 intermediate hurdles with another school record time of 36.86 seconds.
