RIO VISTA

bus service CHANGING Monday: Rio Vista is using a state grant to improve its bus service, and starting Monday riders will see the following changes:

  • Route 50 to Fairfield and Suisun City will have minor schedule changes and a reroute to serve North Bay Regional Center in both directions on Pennsylvania Avenue and to serve Solano County Government Center directly.

  • Route 52 will add one morning and afternoon commuter trip on weekdays direct from Rio Vista and Isleton to BART's Hillcrest Park and Ride lot and Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station. Midday service will operate Tuesday and Thursday only with direct service to Walmart, Sutter Delta Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente and Prewett Family Park. Direct service to Kmart will be discontinued, however.

  • New Saturday service will be available 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Routes 50 and 52, with buses providing one round trip to Fairfield, Suisun City via Rio Vista and Isleton and continuing to Antioch and the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station.

New schedules are available on the buses as well as online at www.deltabreeze.org. Guides containing revised maps will be available in November. Riders can plan their trip by going to www.511.org. or
