Stage Right to present 'Snow White: The Queen s Fair Daughter
ANTIOCH -- Stage Right Conservatory Theatre Inc. presents "Snow White: The Queen s Fair Daughter at 7 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Nick Rodriguez Community Center, 213 F St. in Antioch.
The play was adapted by Max Bush and produced by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Co. Based on the original Brothers Grimm manuscript, this classic fairy tale is directed by Bryan Anthony and is geared for all ages.
The production is presented by two casts alternating performances. The Jacob Grimm Cast features actors ages 8-13, starring Jackie Valadez and Abby Torrez as Snow White, Teagan Ramirez as the Queen and Connor Achziger as the Prince. The Wilhelm Grimm Cast features actors ages 14-18, starring Rachel Kennealy and Rylee Garcia as Snow White, Megan McNesby as the Queen and Rio Teixeira as the Prince. Saturday nights are again concert nights in downtown Antioch

Celebration of Art to open in Antioch
ANTIOCH -- Celebration of Art, again being co-hosted by the The Arts & Cultural Foundation of Antioch and the Antioch Historical Society, is set to open Saturday.
The eighth annual exhibit will be held at the Antioch Historical Society Museum at 1500 W. Fourth St. This is a nonjuried exhibit with no required theme, and is expected to attract some 50 local artists. The celebration begins with an artists reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, and continues 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays through July 25. Admission is free.

Starry Nights Concert Series continues Friday
BRENTWOOD -- The city of Brentwood s concert series continues on Friday with "Rodeo House, one of country music s most sought-after bands.
This country band has compelling songs, skilled musicianship and ear-grabbing vocals that blend into a potent cocktail that makes Rodeo House a dynamic group. The free music will be at the renovated City Park at 710 Second St. beginning at 7 p.m. Ample parking is available in the parking garage at 150 City Park Way. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic basket and enjoy the first of eight summer concerts in the park.

Auditions set for 'Fabulous Follies
ANTIOCH -- The Vagabond Players will hold auditions for "Fabulous Follies from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at El Campanil Theatre, 602 W. Second St.

Frank Ballesteros directs this popular adaptation by Tim Kelley. Auditions are open to actors ages 7 and older.
Rehearsals will be 4 to 6 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays. Performances will be Aug. 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19.

PACO calls for artists, volunteers for summer art show
PITTSBURG -- The Pittsburg Arts Collaborative is looking for local artists and volunteers in preparation for its annual Summer Art Exhibit set to open on Aug. 25 at the Impulse Gallery, 329 Railroad Ave.,
Submission for artwork is set for Aug. 18 and 19 at the Impulse Gallery. However, much work needs to be done in preparation for that date and PACO is looking for exceptional volunteers to assist.
Each artist may submit three pieces and there is a $35-per-artist entry fee.
The opening artist s reception will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 25 and features cash awards, live music, hors d oeuvres and refreshments.
