Events Lamorinda CERT Drill Committee -- 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 20. This is the first time Lamorinda CERT members will practice their role in a simulated disaster in the neighborhoods as well as at a shelter. Under the supervision public officials in a simulated Emergency Operations Center, CERT members will organize their response teams and take the lead in search and rescue operations, opening the shelter and providing basic medical care.
