  • More Jazz in the Library -- 8 p.m. "Voices of Jazz" concert features sultry jazz vocalist Daria and trumpeter Dave Rocha. will perform a fusion of classic Jazz, Brazilian, blues and Latin rhythms.   • Fire Safety Expo -- 8 a.m.-noon. The Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation will host a pancake breakfast to support local charities and the Fallen Firefighters Foundation to start off the departmetn's fun family event. There willl be firefighter demonstrations, fire escape planning, information on fire safety, and more. The public can tour the Fire Safety Trailer and Training Facility, learn how to use a fire extinguisher, and get disaster preparedness information. A kid's obstacle course is also included.   • Livermore Valley Opera -- 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, The LVO kicks off its opera season with Puccini's La Boheme, starring Marie Plette as Mimi, David Gustafson as Rodolfo and Kristin Clayton as Musetta.   • Grape Stomp Half Marathon -- 8 a.m. The Grape Stomp consists of three distances -- something for everyone. The Half Marathon uses the Arroyo Mocho Trail and the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District Trails through the beautiful south valley vineyards up to Holdener Park. The 10K is an out-and-back course that stays entirely on the Arroyo Mocho Trail. The 5K course stays on paved trails by the river area on the Arroyo Mocho/LARPD trails.   • Songs of Laughter -- 3 p.m. The Valley Concert Chorale will open its concert season with "An Afternoon with Gilbert and Sullivan." Enjoy treats while listening to songs from popular Gilbert and Sullivan operettas including "The Mikado," "Pirates of Penzance," "H.M.S. Pinafore" and more in this event to benefit the Chorale.
