Transcript in the tulips

Amid fields of tulips in brilliant colors of yellow and scarlet at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm near Portland, Ore., in April, former Clayton neighbors enjoyed a reunion. It was the height of the tulip season when, from left, Suellen LaDouceur from Texas, Carolyn Clouser from New York, Dianne Werner and Sherrie Byerley from Clayton, and Mary Fay from Oregon, stopped for a visit. Taking a moment from gazing at the colorful blooms, the group caught up on the community news in the Concord Transcript.

It doesn't matter if your time away is spent across the Bay or across the country -- remember to pack the Transcript to keep up with news of the community, and then show your neighbors where you have been.
