MONDAY, Nov. 19

  • VANDALISM -- Vandals "tagged" the south side of the Schlee Chiropractic building on San Pablo Avenue overnight.

  • HOME ROBBERY -- A resident on San Carlos Street reported that during the afternoon someone entered their home through a back door and stole a TV, jewelry, laptop, cash and other items.

    TUESDAY, Nov. 20

  • AUTO THEFT -- At 11 a.m. a caller reported the theft of a vehicle that was parked on Kains Avenue. The caller reported that the car had a handicap placard inside and white leather upholstery.

  • THEFT -- At 1:30 p.m. a resident on Fillmore Street reported that they just observed a person take fruit trees from their front yard and depart on a black motorcycle.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- A Washington Avenue resident called at 10:30 p.m. to report arriving home to find her home ransacked and her 14-year-old son missing since about 4 p.m. Officers took the report.

    WEDNESDAY, Nov. 21

  • THEFT -- A Commercial 1 nitrix tank was stolen overnight from outside a locked storage building on Ventura Avenue.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- Entry to a car on Francis Street near Tevlin Street was gained by smashing a window.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- A window was smashed and property stolen from a car on Cleveland Street.

  • DISTURBANCE -- At 5:30 p.m. officers received several calls reporting a man throwing things into Zand Pastry on Solano Avenue and threatening the female employees.

  • DISTURBANCE -- At 9 p.m. officers contacted a person near San Pablo and Marin Avenues who appeared to be intoxicated and had fallen. They arrested the transient man for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

    THURSDAY, Nov. 22

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle near San Pablo and Marin avenues for a vehicle code violation and arrested a Milpitas woman, for suspicion of DUI and drug possession.

  • THEFT -- A trunk-mounted Yakima bike rack was stolen overnight from a 2003 Honda on Kains Avenue.

    FRIDAY, Nov. 23

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- A white SUV was burgled overnight on Talbot Avenue.

  • THEFT -- The catalytic converter was stolen overnight off a car parked on Portland Avenue.

  • SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY -- At 6 p.m. officers received a call about a man with a computer who was hiding in the shadows at the Albany Community Center. Officers contacted the person and warned him about his behavior.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- A Stannage Avenue resident called at 8:30 p.m. to report that between 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. the house had been rummaged after the front door was kicked in.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- At 10 p.m. a house sitter on Stannage Avenue reported that the home had been burglarized during the day.

    SATURDAY, Nov. 24

  • DUI -- At about 2 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle near Pierce Street and Central Avenue for a vehicle code violation and arrested an El Sobrante man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • DUI -- Officers arrested a Corning man at about 3:30 a.m. near Santa Fe and Solano avenues for suspicion of DUI and an outstanding warrant.

  • VANDALISM -- At 1 p.m. a caller reported that a group of high school-age girls in a dark green Honda, or similar car, had just egged a white SUV parked near Thousand Oaks and Key Route boulevards. The car was last seen traveling north on Ramona Avenue.

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle seen going very recklessly down Buchanan Street from Interstate 80 at 9:30 p.m. and arrested an Albany man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

    SUNDAY, Nov. 25

  • AUTO THIEF -- At 4:30 a.m. officers arrested a Richmond man in the 500 block of Adams Street for suspicion of repeated auto theft.

  • VANDALISM -- A Stannage Avenue resident reported that overnight, vandals broke the head off an owl yard decoration that she had purchased the day before. She also reported that her neighbor's child had threatened to rip the head off the owl.

  • FIRE -- At 9 a.m. officers responded to the Beverages and More parking lot in the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue on reports that a person had built a small bonfire near the back of the parking lot. Officers addressed the situation.

  • AUTO THEFT -- A car was reported stolen from Cornell Avenue.

  • DRUGS -- At 11:30 a.m. officers arrested a Suisun City woman on the 1000 block of Kains Avenue for suspicion of drug possession.

  • BURGLARY TOOLS -- Officers arrested a Richmond man in the 1000 block of Kains Avenue at about noon for suspicion of possession of burglary tools and a parole violation.

    MONDAY, Nov. 26

  • VANDALISM -- The glass front door of Royal Cleaners on San Pablo Avenue was smashed overnight.
