Cougars wear down Matadors

Jack Evans (21) and the Campolindo High boys basketball team earned a 66-54 victory over rival Miramonte on Jan. 11 to push its Diablo Foothill Athletic League record to 2-0. The Cougars wore down the Matadors in the second half after trailing at the break. Matt O'Reilly led the Cougars with 18 points while teammate Justin Dunn grabbed 11 rebounds. Kiran Shastri paced Miramonte with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
