ANTIOCH -- A family was displaced after their travel trailer was destroyed in a fire late Thursday night, according to a Contra Costa Fire Protection District spokesman.

No one was injured.

Spokesman Lewis Broschard said crews responded to a structure fire about 11:27 p.m. in the 400 block of Minner Avenue.

When crews arrived, a travel trailer on one side of the home was engulfed in flames and smoke.

The fire had also extended into the attic of the home and onto the fence that surrounded the property, Broschard said.

Though the home suffered only some fire damage, Broschard said the travel trailer was a total loss

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The residents were displaced, but were able to make their own arrangements for a place to stay, Broschard added.
