ANTIOCH -- At least one person was shot in a bizarre string of events Saturday night, police said.

Police responded to Clayburn Road about 8:45 p.m. after receiving reports of shots being fired. When officers arrived, they found one woman shot twice in the upper body, but police said her injuries were not life-threatening. A second person who fled the scene also may have been shot, police added.

According to police, the house where the shooting occurred had been the target of a break-in last week. Witnesses told officials that an unknown number of people knocked on the front door of the house and were let inside before shots rang out.

Police said it was unclear why anyone was let inside the house, or what led to the shooting.

No arrests have been made.
