Games of the week

San Ramon Valley at Monte Vista, boys soccer, Thursday, 4 p.m. -- In a game that could go a long way in determining seeds for the North Coast Section Division I playoffs, the Mustangs host the rival Wolves in the final regular season game for both teams. Entering this week, Monte Vista was in second place in the East Bay Athletic League standings with 26 points, one point back of De La Salle. San Ramon Valley was in third with 23 points.

Bishop O'Dowd at Berkeley, boys basketball, Friday, 7 p.m. -- The Dragons can take another step toward clinching the West Alameda County Conference Foothill Division title with a victory over the host Yellowjackets. Entering this week, Bishop O'Dowd had a 7-0 record in league play, 11/2 games ahead of San Leandro. Berkeley, which entered the having won four of its last five, lost to Bishop O'Dowd 76-73 in the first meeting between the two teams Jan. 11.

St. Mary's-Stockton at Bishop O'Dowd, girls basketball, Saturday, 4 p.m. -- The top two teams in Northern California are set to face each other in one of the more anticipated girls basketball games of the season. Starting the week, Bishop O'Dowd was ranked third in the state by Cal-Hi Sports and St. Mary's was fourth. The winner of this game should wind up with the No. 1 seed for the Open Division playoffs.

NCS Dual Team Championships, wrestling, Saturday, 10 a.m. -- De La Salle will be looking for a fifth straight Division I title at the dual team championships. Host James Logan is also a strong contender for the Division I crown. Albany is the defending champion in Division II.
