DANVILLE --The Town Council will take public testimony and consider adopting its controversial Danville 2030 General Plan at a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Planning Commission recommended approval of the 2030 General Plan last month after a series of well-attended meetings at which residents were outspoken in their opposition to increases in zoning for high-density, affordable housing and building on agricultural land.

The meeting will be held at the Danville Community Center, 400 Front St.

The council will also consider adopting its Sustainability Action Plan and certifying the final environmental impact report for the general plan.
