SAN RAMON — A charitable soccer festival with two matches by top college women's teams will return Saturday, one year after it was first held to benefit a young player who lost her leg to cancer.

The second annual Team Breezy Collegiate Soccer Cup to benefit disabled athletes will start 3 p.m. at Dougherty Valley High School, 10550 Albion Road, San Ramon, with a variety of soccer games and activities open to children and adults. College players will give autographs.

The University of Santa Clara will play the Bay Area Breeze women's professional team at 5 p.m.

The UC Berkeley and Stanford University women's soccer teams will meet at 7 p.m.

A donation of $10 is suggested for the event to benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation.

The inspiration for the festival -- Brianne "Breezy" Bochenek, 11, of San Ramon -- is planning to attend and take part in some of the soccer activities with her artificial leg.

Friends and the soccer community organized the first soccer festival last year to benefit Bochenek, who played with the Tri-Valley Soccer Club.
