PITTSBURG -- The city's annual Green Footprint Festival will be Thursday at Small World Park.

The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature educational exhibits on recycling, public transportation and saving energy and water to celebrate green living. There will also be "An Earth Loving Comedy Juggling Show" presented by EarthCapades Environmental Vaudeville at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m and crafts activities for children using recycled materials.

Admission to Small World Park on the day of the festival will be $2 for everyone, and $1.25 additional for ride wristbands.

The event also kicks off Small World's summer season. Starting Thursday, the park will be open on Thursdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Aug. 25. Regular admission is $4 for adults and $2 for senior citizens and children age 14 years and under.
