DUBLIN — The public has a chance Tuesday night to learn about a plan to develop up to 1,995 homes and up to 200,000 square feet of commercial space in the Camp Parks military training base in central Dublin.

City planners will present a draft environmental report on the Dublin Crossings Project to the Dublin Planning Commission at its meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday at the City Council chambers, 100 Civic Plaza.

While no vote will be taken, the meeting provides a chance for the public to ask questions and make comments on the project and its impacts. The city will accept written comments about the environmental report through Aug. 8.

The Irvine-based SunCal company plans the mixed-use project on 189 acres north of Dublin Boulevard and between Scarlett Avenue and Arnold Road.
