SAN FRANCISCO -- The St. Ignatius-San Francisco girls basketball team couldn't keep up with Salesian's Mariya Moore, who finished with 35 points to lift the Pride to a 64-55 first round win Friday in the CIF Open Division Northern regional playoffs.

St. Ignatius (26-5), the Central Coast Section Open Division champion, had a 38-36 lead midway through the third quarter, but Salesian scored nine of the next 11 points as it had a 45-40 lead at the start of the fourth. Moore, the Pride's Louisville-bound star, scored 17 points in the third quarter and also had four rebounds for the game. Salesian's Zoe Correal finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

For St. Ignatius, Quinci Mann had 12 points and teammate Sydney Raggio added nine.

Fourth-seeded Salesian (28-6) goes on to Tuesday's second round and will play league rival and No. 1 seed St. Mary's-Berkeley, which beat No. 8 Sacramento 48-32.
