ANTIOCH -- Three Antioch residents released as part of the state's realignment plan were arrested Wednesday after a series of probation searches, police said.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of ammunition. A 23-year-old man was arrested on a parolee-at-large warrant and a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of posession of drugs for sale as well as for being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, according to the Antioch Police Department.
The men's names were not released.
The reason for the searches, police said, was to monitor compliance with realignment probationers living in Antioch. The searches were assisted by staff from at least eight other law enforcement agencies.
