CONCORD -- The Department of Motor Vehicles office is closing at noon on Friday for renovations, and is scheduled to reopen in September.
The 32-year-old state-owned building at 2070 Diamond Blvd. will get fresh paint, new furniture and new a heating and cooling system.
The agency urges motorists to visit the Walnut Creek, Vallejo, Oakland or Pittsburg offices. For more information about DMV office locations or to schedule an appointment visit www.dmv.ca.gov.
