MORAGA -- Two women were arrested Tuesday afternoon by police after they tried to get refunds for items they didn't pay for from the Moraga Home Goods store.
Around 2 p.m., officers arrested Oakland resident Dominika Johnson, 25, and Antioch resident Kendra Hill, 28, outside the store. According to police, the two women walked into the Home Goods, took items from inside the store and brought them to the clerk to claim as returns, receiving cards for store credit.
Johnson had been identified as doing the same thing on March 31, April 3 and again on April 5, police added.
Officers also found children in the women's car; they were unharmed and were released to a relative's custody. Police did not say how many children were there, how old they are or what their relation to the two women was.
Hill was booked into the County Jail in Martinez on charges of burglary, conspiracy, and child endangerment.
Johnson was booked at the same location on four counts of burglary, conspiracy, receiving stolen property, violation of probation and two outstanding arrest warrants for traffic violations and grand theft.
