ANTIOCH -- One man was arrested in Antioch Thursday in connection with shots fired in a residential neighborhood near Antioch High School, a police sergeant said Friday.

Officers responded around 9:30 a.m. to reports of gunshots fired in the 2100 block of Manzanita Way, police Sgt. Tarra Nissen said.

One man at the scene was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, she said.

Police are not releasing the man's name.

No one was injured by the gunfire and there were no reports of property damage, according to Nissen.
