LIVERMORE -- Senior citizens looking for exemptions to the Livermore Valley School District's parcel tax measure have until June 30 to apply.

An exemption to the recently passed measure is being made available to seniors 65 years of age or older who reside in property they own within the school district boundary.

Property owners who received a valid tax exemption in the 2013-14 fiscal year and still own and currently reside at the same address will not need to renew. However, seniors who purchased a new home within the district boundary must reapply for the new property.

Claim forms can be found at www.livermoreschools.com, and the district office, 685 East Jack London Blvd.
