SAN RAMON — San Ramon's Park and Community Services Commission will hold a meeting on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at 2222 Camino Ramon on the planned closure of the city's popular 24-hour-a-day basketball courts at Central Park.
Used by players throughout the East Bay, the city will be closing the courts on Sept. 2 to make way for the building of a new city hall. A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 5 p.m. at 12501 Alcosta Blvd.
The commission plans to gather feedback on whether it's best to keep any potential replacement courts open all night and what the options are for relocating them within the city.
