DANVILLE -- Town planners on July 23 unanimously approved a subdivision request for construction of six single-family homes on the southeast side of the intersection of Diablo and El Cerro roads.
The homes would be built by developer KT Builders on a 2.5-acre lot at 853 Diablo Rd.
According to Danville Principal Planner David Crompton, the project conforms to existing zoning requirements and includes six 15,000 square-foot lots. Crompton said planners approved the subdivision on the condition that the corner lot nearest the Diablo Road intersection be limited to a single-story.
Property owner Corrie Development Group of Dublin and KT Builders submitted their application to the town in May and will have to return to the Planning Commission for final design review. No more public hearings will take place.
