Motorists can expect a few minor delays because of overnight ramp and lane closures on Highway 4 this week in Pittsburg and Antioch.

A single westbound lane will be closed between Antioch's Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive and Pittsburg's Loveridge Road from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. overnight Wednesday and Thursday and midnight to 4 a.m. overnight Friday, according to a Contra Costa Transportation Authority news release.

The eastbound off-ramp to Loveridge will be closed 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. overnight Wednesday through Friday, while the on-ramp from Loveridge will be closed those nights from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Meanwhile, the westbound Loveridge off-ramp will be closed those three nights from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Locally, all lanes of Somersville/Auto Center will be closed between the two Highway 4 on-ramps from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. overnight Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. overnight Friday. The off-ramps will remain open, though turning movements will be limited, transportation officials said.

During the day, a single lane in both directions of Somersville/Auto Center will be closed between Century Boulevard and Delta Fair Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

A single southbound lane on Lone Tree Way/A Street will be closed from Texas Street to Tregallas Road 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
