PITTSBURG -- The first of a series of public meetings will be held Tuesday to gather comments from residents on what they would like to see when a new city park is built in the Old Town area of Pittsburg.
There are plans for a park in what is now a vacant lot on Railroad Avenue between Fifth and Sixth streets. The purpose of the upcoming meeting is to hear from residents on their vision for the park and amenities they would like to see included.
Tuesday's meeting starts at 6:30 p.m at the Railroad Book Depot, 650 Railroad Ave.
