ALAMO -- The Alamo Improvement Association will review a proposal to install a 54-panel solar photoelectric array at a private residence during its regular planning committee meeting on Tuesday.
The 12-foot-high solar installation would be mounted to the ground on a five-acre parcel at 1980 Las Trampas Rd. The land is currently designated as a scenic easement, said planning committee Chairman Ed Moran, adding that committee members are concerned the array could impact views of the hillside on the property. Solar company NextEnergy is the project's applicant.
The committee will also review a request by the Las Trampas Center at 195 Vernal Dr. to add new signage along storefronts in the shopping complex.
The meeting twill be held at Creekside Community Church, 1350 Danville Blvd., 7 p.m. For more information, call 925-314-0521.
