DUBLIN — The City Council on Tuesday will consider approving another city dog park -- this one at the site of the future Jordan Ranch Community Park in eastern Dublin.

The council meets 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Civic Center, 100 Civic Plaza.

Dublin city staff and the city parks and community services commission have recommended creation of a new 2-acre dog park as part of the future Jordan Ranch Community Park south of Central Parkway and east of Fallon Road.

City staffers said Jordan Ranch is a better dog park site than several existing parks that are heavily used and have extensive sporting and recreational facilities.

Dublin has a Dougherty Hills Dog Park, and a quarter-acre enclosed play area for small dogs at Bray Commons Park
