Motorists that use Vasco Road can expect delays later this week because of work to replace roadway delineators.

Weather permitting, Contra Costa public works employees will be out from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday replacing the dividers for a mile stretch just north of the Contra Costa/Alameda County line, according to a county news release.

Traffic controls will be in place along the two-lane highway road that cuts through the hills.
