ANTIOCH -- Work this week to widen Highway 4 through Antioch and Pittsburg will not require any lane closures on the freeway, but several local roads will be shut down.

All lanes of Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive will be closed under the freeway from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. overnight Monday through Thursday and from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. overnight Friday, according to the Contra Costa Transportation Authority news release.

Similarly, all lanes of Lone Tree Way/A Street will be closed 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. overnight Monday through Wednesday.

The on- and offramps at the interchanges will remain open, though turning movements will be limited.

During the day, one lane in both directions of Somersville/Auto Center will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday between Century Boulevard and Delta Fair Boulevard.

On Lone Tree/A, a single southbound lane will be closed 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday from Texas Street/Bryan Avenue to Tregallas Road.

In Pittsburg, all on- and offramps at Loveridge Road will be closed overnight Monday through Wednesday; the lone exception being the westbound off-ramp will also be closed overnight Thursday and Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m.
