DANVILLE -- Work began Monday to repair a broken water main at Sycamore Valley Park, requiring the closure of water features and restrooms in the lower park area.

Danville spokesman Geoff Gillette said the town hopes to have repairs completed by the end of the week. Portable restrooms have been installed in the lower section of the park, and water features will be restored as soon as repairs are finished.
