PITTSBURG--A ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place at 7 p.m. Friday to celebrate renovation of the Pirates football stadium, soccer field and track at Pittsburg High School.
The ceremony will take place before the varsity game against Granite Bay High School.
Paid admission to the game is required to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and children between the ages of 6 and 8.
The stadium is located at Leber Lane at School Street.
