THE STAT LINE: Hutchings' monster game helped the Wolverines stay unbeaten with a 45-34 win at Vacaville. Playing on the high school football team for the first time, Hutchings had 19 tackles and forced four fumbles, recovering two of them.

Louis White

SCHOOL: McClymonds

SPORT: Football

YEAR: Senior

POSITION: Wide receiver

THE STAT LINE: White caught five passes -- four for touchdowns -- for 120 yards in the Warriors' 47-40 loss to Menlo. The last two touchdowns came within a minute of each other in the fourth quarter as McClymonds rallied from a 40-12 third-quarter deficit to nearly pull off a win. White's touchdown grabs were for 22, 29, 17 and 56 yards.

Trinity Gerome

SCHOOL: Newark Memorial

SPORT: Water polo

YEAR: Junior

POSITION: Hole set

THE STAT LINE: Gerome scored a game-high four goals to lead the Cougars to an 8-4 victory over Washington to remain undefeated in the Mission Valley Athletic League. She also had two goals and four steals in a 12-3 win over Irvington.

Kimberly Liu

SCHOOL: Amador Valley

SPORT: Golf

YEAR: Senior

THE STAT LINE: In East Bay Athletic League matches against Monte Vista and Granada, the USF-bound Liu was a combined a 7-under par. She shot a 4-under 32 and a 3-under 33 in home matches at the Ruby Hill Golf Club, earning medalist honors in the two Dons' victories.

MARCUS DE LA PENA, San Ramon Valley, football, Sr. -- The Wolves' running back eclipsed the 200-yard rushing mark for the third time this season, piling up 204 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-10 victory over Livermore in his team's EBAL opener.

ISAIAH HUNTER, Encinal, football, Sr. -- Hunter rushed for a game-high 105 yards on 20 carries and scored both of the Jets' touchdowns in a 14-10 victory over Alameda in the Island Bowl. He reached the end zone on a 6-yard run in the second quarter and a 1-yard run in the third quarter.

GIRLS

BRYANNA DAVIS, Bishop O'Dowd, volleyball, Sr. -- Davis had 14 kills in the Dragons' 25-22, 26-24, 25-14 victory over Berkeley in West Alameda County Conference play.

ELIZABETH SCHULTZ, Acalanes, golf, Sr. -- The two-time Diablo Foothill Athletic League MVP had a strong week, shooting under par twice in league matches. She fired a 3-under 33 against Alhambra at Franklin Canyon Golf Course and a 1-under 36 at the San Ramon Golf Course in a tri-match with Dublin and Dougherty Valley.
