RIO VISTA -- Drivers headed from the East Bay toward Sacramento or Fairfield may want to add a few more minutes to their travel time this week.
Highway 12 will have one-way traffic controls at the Rio Vista Bridge from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, as Caltrans conducts its annual structure inspection, according to an agency news release.
The Rio Vista Bridge spans the Sacramento River between Sacramento and Solano Counties.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times, with crews alternating traffic in the westbound and eastbound directions, according to Caltrans. Flaggers will help direct traffic.
The inspection will not interrupt boats passing underneath.
