All eastbound lanes on Highway 4 will be closed from 2 to 6 a.m. Saturday from Contra Loma Boulevard/L Street to Lone Tree Way/A Street, as workers re-stripe and shift existing lanes near G Street to accommodate the next stage of construction, according to a Contra Costa Transportation Authority news release.

Other work during the week includes single lanes on Highway 4 and local roads.

One eastbound Highway 4 lane will be closed 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. and then 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday between Railroad Avenue in Pittsburg and Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive. One lane in that direction will also be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. overnight Monday through Friday between Hillcrest Avenue and the Highway 160 interchange.

Farther east, a single eastbound lane will be closed between Laurel Road and Lone Tree Way from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

There is only one detour planned for westbound, as one lane will be closed overnight 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Wednesday through Friday between Somersville/Auto Center and Harbor Street.

Locally, a single lane in both directions of Somersville/Auto Center will be closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday between Century and Delta Fair boulevards.

A single lane in the southbound direction of Lone Tree Way/A Street will be closed from Texas Street/Bryan Avenue to Tregallas Road on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
