A San Jose resident and Milpitas business owner turned himself in to Milpitas Police June 6 on charges he sexually assaulted a child last year.
Milpitas police officers received a report last August that Ke Neng Yang, also known as Jimmy, may have sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl at Happy 8 Health Center.
Yang, 44, owns the business at 1717 N. Milpitas Blvd., and also works there as a masseuse, police said.
The alleged incident occurred when Yang was giving the victim a massage there, according to police.
Milpitas detectives completed an investigation and submitted the case to the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office in February.
The District Attorney's Office filed a complaint against Yang for committing lewd lascivious acts with a child, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, police said.
Yang surrendered at the Milpitas Police Department June 6, where he was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail, police said.
