A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with stabbing two men at a Morgan Hill house party over the weekend, police said.
Julio Medina, a Morgan Hill resident, was booked into County Jail on two counts of attempted murder after surrendering to police Saturday evening, about 15 hours after the stabbings occurred.
According to Morgan Hill police, Medina was at a party near Diana Avenue and Hill Road about 3:15 a.m. Saturday and got into an argument with two other attendees, and they took their dispute outside into the street. It quickly got physical, and after Medina got knocked to the ground, he pulled out a knife and stabbed one of the men, a 19-year-old from San Jose who was wounded in the neck.
Police say Medina then ran after the second man, an 18-year-old Sunnyvale resident, and stabbed him multiple times in the torso and neck. Other partygoers pulled Medina off, and he ran away.
Officers arrived to the two men lying in the street and summoned medical personnel. They were taken to the hospital in serious condition, police said.
