NORTH FAIR OAKS -- A would-be party crasher punched a resident in the face, was thrown out of the house, then returned and fired a gun through a window early Saturday morning, deputies said.
Several people were struck by broken glass after the gunshot, but no one was seriously injured, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. The suspect, Ismael Garcia Luna, 20, of San Jose, was found and arrested about an hour later.
The incident began about 1 a.m. Saturday, when a small group of friends were having a party inside a home in the 500 block of Hurlingame Avenue. Luna, who was intoxicated and did not know any of the party guests, tried to enter the home but was asked to leave, deputies said.

About 30 minutes later, a single shot was fired through the window of the home, but no one was hit. Paramedics arrived and treated the wounds caused by broken glass.
About an hour later, deputies searching the area found Luna hiding about three blocks away. He was identified by witnesses and arrested; deputies said they found a shotgun and other evidence nearby.
Luna, who deputies say is a current or former gang member, was booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of firing into an inhabited dwelling and six counts of attempted
